Acne Treatment

Acne occurs when bacteria and oil are trapped beneath the skin. One acne treatment commonly used is laser removal. Laser treatments use an intense beam of energy to kill the bacteria under the skin that causes whiteheads and blackheads to form.
The next step is to shrink the oil producing glands in the face to prevent future break outs. Laser treatments can take anywhere from fifteen minutes to one hour depending on the amount of acne being treated. It is relatively painless and there is no need for recovery time after treatment.
